Ana Garcia

Ana Carmela Garcia specialises in mixed media storytelling around migration and cultural identity. She is a graduate of Whitecliffe College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) and passionate about the role of art in our communities.

Ana loves working with people and has a background in running dynamic workshops and holiday programs for youth since 2017. Through the art classes she hopes to pass on her love of all things creative to the new generations, harnessing her various skills in art making to do so. 

Brunelle Dias

Brunelle Dias is an artist based in Tāmaki Makaurau who specialises in figurative painting and drawing. She received her Masters of Visual Arts at Auckland University of Technology in 2021.

Dias is passionate about sharing her knowledge of painting with students through age-appropriate explorations, and aims for students to find their own voice through making.

Olive Breach 

Olive Breach is a local Tāmaki Makaurau artist who loves the qualities of clay as an artistic medium. She began working as a mural artist in 2013, while completing a diploma of Art and Creativity (Honours) through The Learning Connexion in Wellington via distance learning. Breach has since completed numerous mural projects with the help of young talented students at a local intermediate school. She aims to teach and inspire her students with age-appropriate art ideas, techniques, and subjects.

Samantha Cheng

Samantha Cheng is an artist based in Tāmaki Makaurau. Since graduating with a Master of Visual Arts in 2021, Samantha’s art practice has grown to incorporate video making, crochet, book binding, and making ceramics. She believes that art making is a skill that can be learnt and practised at any time and is passionate in teaching young students art ideas and techniques to develop their own abilities.
