Commissioned in 2017, In Transit (Arrival) was a major installation that explored the structure and pulse of civilisation through a vast entangled structure made of stainless steel tube commonly used as barriers and handrails in train stations and airports around the world.
Interwoven throughout the building were a miscellany of everyday objects including hat racks, umbrellas, tables, bus seats and mailboxes. These permanent works are relics of the major 2017 site responsive work, pieces of which can still be found in the building.
