The Aroha Art Project organised by Auckland Arts Festival was displayed at Aotea Square.

This collaborative installation brought together elements made by school students and community groups across Tāmaki Makaurau with found materials, bound together into a collective expression of aroha.

We had nearly 500 school students from Pakuranga Heights School, Anchorage Park School and Pakuranga Intermediate School participate at Te Tuhi to contribute to the Aroha Art Project, working with artists Wai Ching Chan, Karen Rubado and John Johnston.
