Ten toi Māori carvers from Te Ana o Hine came together at Te Tuhi from 26–28 June 2026 to spend time together carving in the studio, sharing stories, tools and techniques.
The wānanga included a lecture from Ngahuia te Awekotuku discussing the history of wahine carving and an artist talk from Emily Karaka.
