For the Te Tuhi Project Wall, Auckland artist Monique Jansen creates a mesmerising work by cutting hundreds of fine lines into the wall's surface. The numerous lines give the appearance of murmuration which Jansen explains is “the phenomena of thousands of starlings flocking, swarming, folding and unfolding, gathering and collapsing or the continuous murmur of a crowd.” The work reflects the very busy social space of Te Tuhi’ s foyer where hundreds of people converge and dissipate throughout the day.

All exhibitions are currently offsite due to disruptions caused by the Pakuranga Eastern Busway construction. The building remains open for classes and other activities. 21 William Roberts Road, Pakuranga, is the best address to enter into navigation apps to guide you to the free parking at our door.
