Mura o te ahi (In the heat of the fire) is part of a partnership between Te Tuhi Centre for the Arts and Manukau Institute of Technology’s School of Visual Arts (MSVA). The exhibition consists of four short-term projects developed by students in the final stages of their study. In preparation for the exhibition each student receives extensive mentoring from MSVA and Te Tuhi staff.

Each week long exhibition is accompanied by a critical discussion which will be held in the gallery. Members of the public are welcome to attend and participate in these events.
