PRIDE ALLIED will be on two separate days (Saturday 1 June from 12:30-3:00pm, and Saturday 15 June from 11:30am-3:30pm), and aims to provide a space for youth and the attendees to become more aware of the diversity we have in East Auckland.
The event will consist of interactive activities such as t-shirt decorating and banner-making, a book swap event, and a series of talks with guest speakers in the main social event.
In the book swap event on Saturday 1 June, there will be queer media presented followed by a moment for guests to swap books with each other and explain the significance behind why they chose that particular piece of literature (can be print out or a physical book).
The PRIDE ALLIED events are open to everyone. Light refreshments will be provided.
