Student conduct
All students are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully while participating in our courses. Inappropriate conduct will initially result in a verbal warning, followed by a written warning if necessary. Ongoing breaches of our conduct policy may lead to expulsion from the course, with a possible loss of rights to continue studying at the school.
We ask all students to adhere to the following guidelines:
- Be considerate of others in the class; students, tutors and guests.
- Follow all teaching instructions provided by the tutor.
- Respect school property and the belongings of others.
- Avoid disrupting the teaching program, including refraining from the use of mobile phones and music devices during instructional time.
- Refrain from intimidating, confrontational, or harassing behaviour towards other students or staff.
- Use school property only for its intended purposes.
- Avoid any anti-social behaviour or causing offense to others.
- Do not photograph teaching content without obtaining consent from the tutor.
- Do not photograph other students or their work without obtaining their explicit permission.
- Do not possess or use illegal drugs or substances on school premises.
- Avoid intoxication on school premises.
- Be courteous and polite when visiting industry / trade-only showrooms
- When visiting homes that are open to the class for viewing, refrain from taking photographs, opening cupboards, or making derogatory comments.
