vacuum is a poem by ada duffy currently on display across the Te Tuhi Billboards at Parnell Station. The poem is spread across the three billboards, and will greet commuters and visitors to Puku at Te Tuhi's Parnell Project Space until February 2026.
About ada duffy
ada duffy is of Kāi Tahu, Pākehā and Indo-Fijian descent. Their work is sustained by conversations with the whenua. ada is writing a poetry collection about their relationship with Te Waipounamu, exploring whakapapa, the politics of language, displacement, and sovereignty of self and community.
