Te Tuhi offers interactive, engaging, creative and intercurricular workshops across two sites, Te Tuhi in Pakuranga and O Wairoa Marae in Howick. The programme is designed for school students from preschool to Year 13 and is led by trained schools educators at both sites.

Te Tuhi schools programme
Schools can visit the gallery to participate in a workshop programme that includes hands-on learning experiences in the art studio paired with educator-led tours of Te Tuhi’s current exhibition. Most programmes are free.
Te Tuhi’s school programmes are temporarily disrupted
A recent incident linked to nearby construction has caused flooding in part of our building, affecting our gallery spaces and sections of the wider building. We already have a clear plan in motion to restore and enhance our spaces — ensuring Te Tuhi returns better than ever.
We’ll be in touch to let you know if your booking is affected. If you would like to make a booking send your enquiry to schools@tetuhi.art, but please understand if we take longer than usual to get back to you.
O Wairoa Marae schools programme
The marae, situated on the grounds of Emilia Maud Nixon’s Garden of Memories nestled among beautiful gardens and native bush, offers cultural and history experiences.
Why not consider visiting both sites to build and support your student's learning.
