The Taura project features artists Brook Konia (Ngāti Porou, Kōtimana, Pākehā) and Louie Zalk-Neale (Ngāi Te Rangi, Pākehā). It is the first project in the soft shell programme, curated by Jordan Davey-Emms at Te Tuhi’s Parnell Project Space.
Taura will be open to view at soft shell from 10am – 2pm on the following weekends of July: 6 - 7, 20 - 21 and 27 - 28. New works by artists Brook Konia and Louie Zalk-Neale, installed and generated during their recent residency, will be on show in the space. Visitors are invited to sit and make rope and add to soft shell’s collaborative Taura workbook.
