Play workshop: Headshot kitchen was a workshop led by artist Jordan Davey-Emms.
Headshot kitchen was the first in the Play workshop series which is running from March 2023 and exploring playful practice at Chez Derriere.
The workshop took place on Saturday 4 March 2023 in three sessions and was held association with Aotearoa Art Fair.
Those who participated in the workshop were asked to bring something they made, or a picture of it, whether that’s an artwork, card, piece of furniture, garden, meal, or anything else. Artist Jordan Davey-Emms then led participants through playful word and costume exercises to generate a “professional” headshot for them to take home and use for whatever they like.
