→ Contemporary Painting with Andrew Barns-Graham

This class is for beginners through to advanced painters wishing to work on their own painting projects in acrylic or oil. There is no set curriculum: students work independently and receive personalised mentoring from the tutor in each class.

Andrew Barns-Graham is a full-time practising artist and a graduate of Elam School of Fine Arts. Barns-Graham is a Wallace Art Award finalist, and his work has been featured in many publications including New Zealand’s Favourite Painters (2006).

→ OBJECTS, Exploring Drawing Media with Toni Mosley 

This 4 week course will have you draw objects and explore different media and techniques used in drawing. This class is a chance to try different materials to create interesting and expressive drawings of objects. We will look at artists that create drawings of objects as starting points for each class and different mediums.

Feel free to bring drawing paper (not cartridge paper) and any pencils you might have. We will discuss materials on the first night. Most materials will be provided.
