Te Tuhi offers interactive, hands-on learning experiences in the art studio paired with educator-led tours of Te Tuhi’s current exhibitions.

All schools are welcome to visit the gallery to participate in a pre-booked education programme with our trained schools educator. We have an exciting range of permanent programmes available throughout the year. Te Tuhi’s education programmes are engaging, creative and inter-curricular and are designed for school students from Year 1 to Year 13. Programme activities can include observing artworks, creatively responding to ideas through group discussion and practical exercises. To choose the best fit for your class, explore our workshops below.

We have a printable list of our workshops available, allowing you to compare  year groups and curriculum links for each workshop.

All exhibitions are currently offsite due to disruptions caused by the Pakuranga Eastern Busway construction. The building remains open for classes and other activities. 21 William Roberts Road, Pakuranga, is the best address to enter into navigation apps to guide you to the free parking at our door.
