Based in Ormiston Town Centre, the Celebrating Culture Pop-Up is a vibrant two-week programme of performances, workshops, and activities embracing the diversity of our region.
Funded by the Howick Local Board and supported by Ormiston Town Centre, Te Tuhi presents an exciting lineup of cultural events and interactive experiences delivered by local groups and creatives. The programme includes traditional craft workshops, cooking demonstrations, dance performances, and family-friendly activities such as One World Many Faces paint workshop, mini piñata, poi and dumpling making.
This is a unique celebration of arts, culture, and community, where everyone is welcome to join in the fun and foster deeper connections through shared experiences.

Opening Day
The Celebrating Cultures Pop-Up opens on Saturday 15 March, 10am-4pm, marking the start of a vibrant two-week programme at Ormiston Town Centre. Located next to New World, the pop-up offers a chance to immerse yourself in the rich cultural heritage of our community through a variety of live performances, music, workshops, and family-friendly activities.
The opening day will be filled with colour, movement, and excitement, and will include cultural performances, children carnival rides, henna painting and creative craft activities.
