July will give art enthusiasts the opportunity to view the craftwork of the local community at the Fisher Gallery. From Saturday 7 July until Sunday 22 July the works of the Fibre Group of the Pakuranga Arts Society will be on display. This year membership of the group has been increased with the inclusion of the patchworkers group from Pakuranga and Howick.
The exhibition will include weavings, floor rugs, quilts, cushions and embroideries that have been recently produced by the Society members.
Some of the items on display will include works displayed alongside the Prizewinning quilts for the ENZED Sewing competition and ‘A Patch in Time’ exhibition recently at Uxbridge in Howick.
