Glen Snow’s process-based practice explores the physicality of painting and its relation to the everyday. His work often involves standard viscous building products such as resin fillers, glue and house paint that are used as active structural components within their wooden support as well as creating an abstract pictorial space. For the Te Tuhi Project Wall, Snow will explore the relationship between the figure and the ground through a composition of holes, gouges, and overfilled repair jobs.
