The Pakuranga Arts Centre was officially opened on 6 April 1975, and in March 1976 it became the Pakuranga Community and Cultural Centre. From 1975 until the opening of the Fisher Gallery in 1984, the Pakuranga Arts Society held its exhibitions in the Centre.

Adding details of exhibitions from the physical archive for this period is a work in progress, and we welcome contributions of records and ephemera to assist with this process.
