Trevor Bayly:
Untitled #1

Trevor Bayly, Untitled #1, 2001. Oils on acrylic.

/

The colours Trevor Bayly has used in this work are what he considers ‘the full spectrum of the colours in life’. Repeating the same image obsessively (81 times), Bayly uses different colour combinations to explore what happens when this is done. The artist says that ‘life is a journey through a maze of contrasting impulses’.
