The local community singing class meets weekly in Matariki Wharenui at O Wairoa Marae. Our class of all ages, covers a vast range of exciting material including; learning about protocols, customs, karakia, whakawhanaungatanga and much more through the simple act of singing.

Nestled within a safe environment to practice and led by a team of supportive tutors, there is always something new to discover. He Waiata Puāwai members, while having access to our community programmes and events, also have the option to practice waiata at events.
