Te Tuhi is a contemporary art gallery. Visitors can expect to see a variety of exhibitions throughout the building, ranging from large installations to multimedia works. Hirers are encouraged to explore the exhibitions, however children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

A shared kitchen with ovens, fridges, a microwave and sterilizer is available for use by all groups. Trestle tables, chairs and whiteboards are included with the hire of all rooms. Extras including the sound system, piano and data projector are available for hire at additional cost. A staff member will be on site throughout your hire period.

If you are holding a genuine private social gathering with no members of the public able to access the event, and you are supplying liquor to your guests, a special license may not be required. BYO is not permitted. If the public has access to your event and liquor is being sold, whether by direct transaction or pre-sold tickets, then a special license must be obtained from Auckland Council.

Following your event the room must be left in the same condition in which it was found. All furniture must be returned to designated storage areas. All rubbish must be removed from site. If necessary, rubbish bags can be purchased from reception for $5 per bag. Rooms must be vacuumed or mopped as necessary. Cleaning equipment is available for use by hirers – please enquire at reception. A cleaning service can be booked upon request for $140 +GST.
